Pea Soup Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 can condensed green-pea soup | ||
| Peas | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Chili Sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Italian herbs | 1/4 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| 1 beef-bouillon cube | ||
Directions
1. Simmer celery in water 10 minutes, or just until crisply tender, in a medium-size saucepan.
2. Stir in green-pea soup, chickpeas, chili sauce, onion, the Italian herbs and the beef-bouillon cube, crushing bouillon cube with spoon. Bring to boiling, then simmer 5 minutes.
3. Ladle into heated soup bowls or cups.
