Payesh Recipe

Ingredients
Full cream milk 1 litre
Basmati rice 4 tbsp
Sugar 1/2 cup
Green cardamom 2
Directions
Heat the milk in a heavy bottomed pan and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat.
Add the rice and cook for 5 minutes.
Now add the sugar and continue to cook on a low flame, stirring frequently so that the rice does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
When the rice is cooked and the milk reaches custard like consistency, add the crushed cardamom, stir and remove from fire.
