Ingredients

 
2-3 large potatoes
 
2 medium onion finely chopped
 
3 medium tomatoes chopped
 
1 bell pepper(capsicum) finely chopped
 
1/2 cup peas
 
a handful of chopped cilantro ( coriander leaves)
 
1 1/2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
 
1/2 tsp red chilli pwd
 
salt to taste
 
1 tbsp butter ( can use less if you want)
 
1/2 tbsp oil

Directions

Pressure cook the potatoes. Once cool, peel and mash. keep aside
Heat oil in a wide pan. Add 3/4th of the chopped onions and saute till golden brown. Next add the tomatoes and saute till they turn soft and mushy.Add half of the chopped bell pepper
Add the red chill pwd and pav bhaji pwd, saute.
Now add the mashed potatoes and peas and mix well. Add a cup or more water as required to make a thick gravy consistency

Put the lid on and cook till it boils. Remove from flame and immediately add the butter. Once the butter melts mix well and serve it garnished with onion, bell pepper and coriander leaves with a little bit of lemon juice on top. Serve it along with Pav or Hamburger buns

hi sima! This a lovely and easy recipe... Its easy with pav bhaji masala these days, else it is kind of tough to get the right balance and flavor with the spices :) this recipe really makes me hungry..gonna try this soon :)
