Ingredients
1 pound zucchini
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup sliced celery
French dressing
Directions
Quarter zucchini lengthwise, then cut crosswise into bite-sized pieces.
Cook in boiling salted water for 3 minutes, remove from heat, let stand in cooking water for 2 minutes.
Drain and chill.
Rub garlic clove over inside of salad bowl.
Place well chilled zucchini, onion, green pepper, and celery in salad bowl.
Pour over French dressing and toss together lightly.
