Pati Brisee Shell Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/4 cups flour with pinch of salt | ||
| Cold water | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Using knives or pastry blender, mix butter, flour and salt.
As mixture begins to resemble heavy cornmeal, sprinkle water over and toss together.
Gather into a ball and then roll to fit Quiche pan (or pie plate) on a lightly-floured pastry board.
Prick all over with a fork and bake at 400° until lightly browned.
