Pastry Wrapped Stuffed Franks Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, cut up | ||
| 3 slices bacon, cut up | ||
| 1 small onion, cut up | ||
| Mayonnaise | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon Worcester hire sauce | ||
| Frankfurters | 16 | |
| Refrigerated crescent rolls dough package | 1 | |
Directions
Put cheese, bacon, and onion through medium blade of food chopper.
Blend in mayonnaise, dry mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
Stuff each frankfurter with about 1 tablespoon of the mixture.
Separate the crescent roll dough into the triangles; cut each in half forming two long pieces.
Wrap a piece of dough spiral fashion around each frankfurter.
Place on baking sheet.
Bake at 425°F 10 minutes, or until rolls are golden.
Garnish each frankfurter with a sweet gherkin on a frilled wooden pick.
