6 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup flour
8 eggs
1 quart hot milk
Directions
Melt butter in a saucepan.
Add flour and cook, stirring, until mixture is golden.
Gradually stir in hot milk.
Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is smooth and thickened.
Stir in salt and set aside to cool.
When partly cool stir in eggs, lightly beaten.
