Pasta with Salsa Dl Puttana Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1 celery rib, minced | ||
| Sweet red pepper | 1 To taste, minced | |
| Italian tomatoes | 1 2 pound | |
| 8 anchovies, chopped 8 stuffed green olives, sliced | ||
| Pitted black olives | 8 , sliced | |
| Capers | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Basil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dried red pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
Saute garlic, celery and sweet red pepper until soft.
Press tomatoes through a food mill and add to skillet along with anchovies.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in olives, capers, basil and dried red pepper.
Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
