Ingredients

 Tomato sauce2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Broccoli1 1/2 Pound
 Boiling water
 Salt To Taste
 Ziti or other tubular pasta - 1/2 pkg (1-lb size)
 Parmesan cheese 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated

Directions

MAKING
1 Trim the stem ends from the broccoli.
2 Wash thoroughly.
3 Cut into 1 -inch pieces.
4 In a 6-quart saucepan, place the broccoli.
5 Add in 6 cups boiling water and 1 teaspoon salt.
6 Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until tender.
7 Drain well.
8 Add to the Tomato Sauce, during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
9 In a large kettle, bring three quarts of water and 1 tablespoon salt to rapid boil.
10 Add ziti and bring back to a boil.
11 Stir occasionally with a long fork to prevent sticking.
12 Cook, uncovered, just until tender, for about 12 minutes.
13 Drain well in a colander or sieve, without rinsing.
14 Turn into a heated serving dish.
15 Pour broccoli sauce over ziti.

SERVING
16 Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve at once.
