Pasta in Clam Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Parmesan cheese | 3 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Dried oregano | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Green pepper | 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| Pepper red | 1 Pinch | |
| Clams - 2 cans (6 1/2-ounces each) chopped, undrained | ||
| Tomato sauce - 1 can (8-ounce) | ||
| Vermicelli or thin spaghetti - 1 package (7-ounce), cooked and drained | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a pan heat butter and oil and saute garlic in it for 1 minute.
2. Reduce heat to low, add next 5 ingredients and heat until bubbly.
3. Stir in clams and tomato sauce and simmer with cover for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
SERVING
4. Toss well pouring clam sauce over hot vermicelli and serve immediately.
