Paruppu Beans Usili Recipe

Ingredients
1. Toor dal and channa dal - 1cup (Soak for 2hours),
2. Green beans - 2 cups,
3. Red dry chilly - 2,
4. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp,
5. Urad dal - 1 tsp,
6. Curry leaves - 1 string,
7. Salt - as per taste,
8. Asefeotida - 1 tsp,
9. Oil - for frying.
Directions
1. Grind the soaked dals with the dry chillies in to a paste with a tsp salt. Steam cook this for 10 mins. Cool and scramble well.
2. Cook the beans with salt seperately.
3. In a kadai, heat oil and add the urad and mustard seeds. Add the asefeotida, curry leaves and saute till splutter.
4. Add the scrambled dal and saute for 3mins till nice dal flavour comes.
5. Now add the cooked beans and saute well. Adjust salt if necessary.
6. If very dry, sprinkle little water and saute till the dal and beans mixed well.
Serve with any rice dish. Enjoy!!!
