Party Spaghetti Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1 /2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Shortening | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| 1 1-lb. 12-oz. can tomatoes | ||
| 1 c. grated sharp cheese | ||
| Monosodium glutamate | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chicken | 6 Pound | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sliced mushrooms | 1 4 Ounce | |
| Tomato soup | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| 1 15 1/2-oz. can spaghetti sauce with meat | ||
| Spaghetti | 1/2 Pound, cooked | |
| Parmesan cheese | ||
| Pimento | 1 Small | |
Directions
Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in shortening; add beef.
Cook until beef begins to brown.
Add tomatoes, cheese, monosodium glutamate, salt and Worcestershire sauce; cook over low heat for 35 minutes, stirring frequently.
Drain mushrooms.
Add mushrooms, soup and spaghetti sauce; cook for 15 minutes.
Stir in spaghetti.
Pour into casserole; top with cheese.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
