Party Cream Puffs Recipe
Ingredients
| Vegetable shortening | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Boiling water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Eggs | 2 |
Directions
In saucepan, combine vegetable shortening and boiling water.
Stir over low heat until vegetable shortening is melted.
Add flour and salt all at once and beat until completely smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat vigorously after each.
Drop from half teaspoon on greased cookie sheet, 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes; lower temperature to 350° and bake 10 minutes.
Cool.
Slice off tops; fill with desired filling.
