Party Molasses Snaps Recipe

| Honey | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), warmed | |
| Molasses | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Orange peel | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Fresh orange juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Whole wheat flour | 2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs) | |
| Soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pecans | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped |

Directions
Stir together flour and soda and add to first mixture.
Add chopped pecans.
Chill dough several hours.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Measure out level tablespoonfuls of dough, form into balls, and place on buttered baking sheet.
Lightly press pecan half in center of each cookie.
Bake 12 minutes.
Let cookies cool a few minutes on baking sheet before removing to rack.
