Party Chicken And Crabmeat Recipe
Ingredients
| Margarine | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken broth | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Paprika | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Sour cream | 2 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 cups cooked hen, in bite-sized pieces | ||
| Crabmeat | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled | ||
| Frozen peas package | 2 | |
Directions
Make a sauce in double boiler by melting margarine.
Add flour and broth.
Stir and cook until thickened.
Add salt, pepper, paprika, garlic and nutmeg.
Cook 10 minutes.
Add sour cream, chicken, crabmeat and bacon.
Reduce heat to simmer in double boiler.
Cook peas.
Add flour and broth.
Stir and cook until thickened.
