Party Chicken A La Dorothea Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 1/4 pound | |
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Whole milk | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 cans mushroom soup | ||
| Velveeta cheese | 2 Pound, cubed | |
| 8 ounces sharp cheese, grated | ||
| Beer | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Dry sherry | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green peppers | 2 Large, cubed | |
| Mushroom | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Pimentos | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Melt butter.
Add flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Add mushroom soup and mix well.
Add Velveeta cheese and grated sharp cheese.
Stir :onstantly until all cheese is entirely melted; add salt and pepper.
Add beer, a little at a time, beating well.
Add sherry gradually.
Saute green peppers in butter until soft, but still bright green.
Add to sauce along with mushrooms and pimentos.
