Directions
Cut each potato into 1/4-inch slices, cutting cross wise and to, but not through, bottom of potato.
Cut potato should resemble a fan.
Allow potatoes to stand in ice water for 5 minutes to open slices.
Place butter in a 1-cup glass measure; microwave at HIGH for 55 seconds or until melted.
Drain potatoes well, and arrange cut side up in a 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish.
Brush tops and sides of potatoes with 2 tablespoons butter.
Cover with waxed paper, and microwave at HIGH for 10 minutes, rearranging potatoes after 5 minutes.
Combine remaining butter and remaining ingredients.
Sprinkle evenly over potatoes.
Cover potatoes with waxed paper; microwave at HIGH for 8 to 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender, rearranging potatoes after 4 minutes.
