Parmesan Topped Loaves Recipe

Ingredients
1 loaf frozen white bread dough
Shortening
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cornmeal
Directions
Rub the frozen loaf with shortening.
Thaw the dough for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at room temperature.
With knife, cut dough into six equal pieces.
Shape each piece into miniature loaf about 3x1 1/2 inches.
Brush each loaf lightly with cold water.
Roll the top of each loaf in some of the cheese.
Place loaves on a greased baking sheet that has been sprinkled with cornmeal.
Let dough rise till almost double (30 minutes).
Place a shallow pan on lower rack of oven; fill pan with boiling water.
Sprinkle the top of each loaf with cold water.
Then, sprinkle each with the remaining cheese.
Bake at 350° till golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
