Ingredients

 Brandy2 Tablespoon
 Lemon juice1 Tablespoon
 4 halibut or other fish steaks (about 6 oz. ea.)
 Butter/Margarine2 Tablespoon
 Dried chives2 Teaspoon
 Mushrooms1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 Apple1 Small, thinly sliced
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

In small bowl, combine brandy and lemon juice.
TO COOK BY INSTA-MATIC: Arrange fish in 12x8-inch dish; do NOT use parchment paper.
Brush brandy mixture over fish; dot with 1/2 tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon chives and season with salt and pepper.
Mound mushrooms and apples on top.
Cover completely with plastic wrap.
Cook on COOK 7.
After cooking, release plastic wrap.
TO COOK BY TIME: Place each fish steak on a 10x5-inch piece of parchment paper.
Brush fish with brandy mixture.
Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
Season with chives, salt and pepper.
Mound mushrooms and apples on top; bring paper up around fish.
Fold edges over twice to seal top; fold side edges up.
Place on oven tray.
Cook at HIGH 71/2 to 9 minutes.
TO COMPLETE: Let stand 5 minutes before serving packet directly on dinner plate.
