Ingredients

 
Chapatti flour-2 cups
 
Carom seeds-1/4 teaspoon
 
Dash of salt
 
Dash of red chili powder
 
Water- as necessary
 
Ghee-1/2 cup

Directions

GETTING READY
1)Take a griddle and heat it.

MAKING
2)In a large mixing bowl, add flour and next 3 ingredients.
3)Add water and knead into medium pliable dough. Cover it with damp cloth and leave it for 30 minutes.
4)Divide the dough into 8 portions and make small balls. Flatten them and make small fat discs.
5)Take one disc, grease its surface and fold it over into half. Grease the surface again and similarly fold yet again.
6)Then, flatten into a triangular shape and roll out. Repeat the process with remaining portions.
7)Put the paratha on heated griddle. Cook it for 30 seconds and grease the top surface and then flip it. Grease the other side and cook for 30 seconds.
8)Make all the parathas in the same manner.

SERVING
9)Serve the parathas with curd or pickles.
