Paprika Potatoes Recipe

Vegetable is the primary ingredient in Paprika Potatoes. It is one Canadian dish which will never fail to impress you or your guests. You need to try this Paprika Potatoes just once! You'll certainly remain loyal to it forever!

Ingredients

 
1/4 cup chopped onion
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
2 tablespoons flour
 
1 teaspoon paprika
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
2 cups beef broth
 
1 cup dairy sour cream
 
2 tablespoons tomato paste
 
6 medium sized potatoes, cooked and cut in cubes

Directions

Lightly brown the onion in hot butter in a large heavy skillet.
Blend in flour, paprika, and salt.
Heat until bubbly.
Stir in the broth.
Bring to boiling; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stirring vigorously, add a mixture of sour cream and tomato paste in very small amounts.
Gently mix potatoes into sauce and cook over low heat stirring 3 to 5 minutes, or until thoroughly heated (do not boil).
