Paprika Sauce Recipe
How can anyone not agree with me that this paprika sauce is simply delicious? It is most popularly enjoyed as a side dish. Once you try preparing this paprika sauce, I am sure you will be making it again!.
Ingredients
4 tbsp (60 ml) butter
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp (30 ml) paprika
4 tbsp (60 ml) flour
1 large apple, peeled, cored and chopped
3 cups (750 ml) light chicken stock, hot
3 tbsp (45 ml) hot light cream
Salt and pepper
Directions
Heat butter in saucepan.
Add onions and cook 4 minutes over low heat.
Stir in paprika and flour; mix well and cook 1 minute over low heat.
Add apple and chicken stock; mix well and season.
Cook sauce 8 to 10 minutes over medium heat.
Remove sauce from heat and pour into food processor; blend until smooth.
