Paper Cup Frozen Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 can crushed pineapple, drained, liquid reserved | ||
| Eggs | 2 , beaten | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Dash | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 cups finely chopped apples | ||
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Whipping cream | 1/2 Pint, Whipped | |
| 6 maraschino cherries, cut in halves | ||
| 12 small paper cups | ||
Directions
Combine pineapple liquid and enough water to make 1 1/2 cups; add eggs, sugar, salt, and lemon juice; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Chill; fold in pineapple, apples, celery, and whipped cream.
Put cherries into bottom of paper cups; pour salad into cups and freeze.
