Pan Fried Fish Recipe
Why visit a restaurant for Panfried Fish when you can make it at home. I have a weakness for Fish, thus I prepare this recipe often. You don't have to be a gourmet to judge how mouth-watering and tasty this dish really is.
Ingredients
2 pounds fish fillets, steaks or pan dressed fish
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1 cup all-purpose flour
Shortening (part butter)
Directions
If fillets are large, cut into serving pieces.
Season with salt and pepper.
Beat egg and water slightly.
Dip fish into egg, then coat with flour.
Melt shortening (1/8 inch) in skillet; fry fish over medium heat, about 10 minutes.
