Pan Fried Oysters Recipe
Ingredients
1 pint shucked select oysters
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons salad oil
2/3 cup finely crushed saltine crackers
Lemon wedges
Directions
1. Drain oysters; pat dry with paper towels. In 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, heat butter or margarine and salad oil. On waxed paper, sprinkle half of crushed saltines. Place oysters on crumbs and sprinkle with remaining saltines.
2. In hot butter mixture, fry half of oysters at a time, turning once, about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
