Panettone Bread
½ cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
Take 4 farm fresh eggs in a bowl and give a little whisk.
Add half a cup of sugar to the eggs and mix the two together to form a cream. Whisk until the mixture is bit paler in color.
Add about 2 tbsp of maple syrup to the egg mixture and whisk that through.
Pour in 3 cups of whole milk and whisk this whole together. Set this aside and open the panettone.
Cut the panettone bread into chunks of 2 inch each. Add them to the egg mixture.
Move the whole thing to allow the bread to soak up the liquid.
Pour the entire ingredients in a casserole dish. Push the bread with hand to get into the egg mixture.
Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes until it is firm and just golden brown.
This pudding can be served in many ways, maybe with a dollop of ice-cream and some maple syrup on it.
