Paneer ladoos Recipe

Ingredients

 
1/2 cup condensed milk
 
250 gms. paneer (cottage cheese)
 
2-3 drops kewra essence (buy it at your closest Indian store)
 
1/4 tsp. yellow colour (optional)
 
1 tabl sp. Tuti fruity mix

Directions

1.Grate paneer.
2.Add condensed milk and cook on slow flame, stirring continously.
3.Cook till thick and leaves the sides of the pan.
4.Add essence (kewra) and remove from flame.
5.Mix well.
6Remove it on to plate.
7. Add the tuti fruity
8.Cool. Make ladoos. (usually made like the round dumblings- roll the dough in ur palms to give a round shape)

Sprinkle powdered elaichi.

Serve.

I make these with out cooking paneer. Grate Paneer really fine and add condensed milk. I also add mawa (or Dried Milk powder) cardamom powder.. or some saffron milk (Soak strands of saffron in warm milk (2 tsp) ) and nuts like slivered almonds are optional. Make round ladoos and serve - optionally you can roll this in grated dried coconut or milk powder to make it dry outside. :)
