Paneer And Guchhi Biryani Recipe

Ingredients
Rice - 1/2 kg
Bay leaves - 2 coarsely grind
Cloves - 4
White cumin seeds - 3 tsp
Cinnamon - 2 pieces
Green cardamoms - 4
Paneer,- 30 gms, cubed
Ghee - 180 gms
Water - 6 cups
Big onion - 1
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
guchhi - 240 gms
Silver leaves - 4
Kewra flavour - 2 tsps
Carrot - 1
Salt - 2 tsps
Directions
GETTING READY
1 In a bowl, soak the guchhis in water overnight.
2 Wash the rice thoroughly.
3 In a separate bowl, soak the rice for one hour.
MAKING
4 In a pan, heat the ghee and fry the paneer pieces until light brown.
5 Add in chopped onion and bay leaves, frying gently.
6 Add in water and salt, bring to a boil.
7 Add in the rice, chopped carrot ad ground spices.
8 Cook until the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked.
9 Stir in the kewra flavor.
SERVING
10 Serve in a dish, garnished with silver leaves and fried cashewnuts.
TIP
11 You can use black mushrooms instead guchhis.
