Paneer Pineapple Burfi Recipe
Ingredients
| Paneer from 3 litres milk | ||
| Powdered sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Silver foil | ||
| Pistachio slices | ||
| Pineapple pieces | ||
| Rose essence, a few drops | ||
| Rose petals | ||
Directions
Prepare paneer by any one method as directed
Mix paneer and sugar in a pan thoroughly.
Mash them with palm of hand.
Place the pan on slow heat.
When sugar melts, increase the heat.
Cook the mixture on medium fire till it becomes like a dough.
Stir constantly.
Remove from fire.
When slightly cool, add essence.
Divide dough into small lime size balls (about 16 balls).
With slightly greased hands flatten each ball slightly; place a piece of pineapple in the centre and close to cover pineapple completely.
Finish all balls in this manner and arrange them close to each other on an oil greased tray.
Apply silver foil.
Garnish with nuts and rose petals.
Transfer burfi to a serving plate.
Chill.
