Pan Fried Oysters Recipe

Ingredients
| Oysters | 1 Quart | |
| 2 cups fine cracker crumbs | ||
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Vegetable oil | ||
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Spicy cocktail sauce | ||
| Flour | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
Drain the oysters on paper towels.
Beat the eggs and water together until well blended.
Coat each oyster with flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and roll it in the cracker crumbs.
Place the oyster on the prepared baking sheet.
Repeat the process until all of the oysters have been coated.
Refrigerate, covered with waxed paper, for 2 hours.
Heat 3/4 inch of oil to 375° F in a large deep skillet.
Add 6 to 8 oysters and fry for 2 minutes.
Turn the oysters over and fry for 1 minute more.
Drain on paper towels.
