Pan Fried Fish Recipe
This special Pan Fried Fish is loved by everyone at home. It's quite simpe and quick to cook, so give it a try, whenever you feel like eating a great fish dish!
Ingredients
| Fish | 6 , dressed | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Milk | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 cup bread crumbs, cracker crumbs, cornmeal or flour | ||
Directions
Wash fish and be sure that they are well cleaned inside.
Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
Beat egg slightly, and blend in the milk.
Dip fish in egg and roll in crumbs.
Place fish in a heavy frying pan which contains about 1/8 inch melted fat, hot but not smoking.
Fry at moderate heat.
When fish is brown on one side, turn carefully and brown the other side.
Cooking time is about 10 minutes depending on thickness of the fish.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Serve immediately plain or with desired sauce.
