Pan Fry Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| 650 g/1 1/2 lb Frying steak | ||
| 15 ml/1 tbsp Oil | ||
| Gherkins | 8 | |
| 376 g/13 1/4 oz can Homepride | ||
| Tomato and Onion Cook-in-Sauce | ||
| 45 ml/3 tbsp Soured cream | ||
| 30 ml/2 tbsp Choppedparsley | ||
Directions
Cut the steak into 2.5 cm/1 inch strips.
Heat the oil gently in a shallow pan and lightly brown the meat.
Drain off the excess fat.
Slice the gherkins and add them to the pan with the Tomato and Onion Cook-in-Sauce.
Bring to the boil, stirring constantly.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot, garnished with swirls of soured cream and chopped parsley.
