Palm Heart Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
| Lettuce leaves | 4 , shredded | |
| 1 x 400 g. / 14 oz. can palm hearts, drained and sliced | ||
| 15 ml. / 1 tablespoon lemon juice | ||
| Paprika to garnish | ||
| 150 ml. / 5 fl. oz. mayonnaise | ||
| Pinch of curry powder | ||
| 30 ml. / 2 tablespoons double cream, lightly whipped | ||
| 5 ml. / 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce | ||
| Tabasco sauce | 4 Drop (Dressing) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Put an equal quantity of shredded lettuce into each of four serving glasses.
Arrange the palm heart slices on top and sprinkle over the lemon juice.
Combine all the dressing ingredients together and season to taste with the salt and pepper.
Spoon over the palm hearts.
Sprinkle a little paprika over the top.
