Tea Time Puris Recipe
Pakwaan is a common indian snack made with refined flour kneaded with ghee and deep fried. In india pakwaan are often served with evening tea or as snacks.
Ingredients
500 gm refined flour
2 tbsp desi ghee
1/2 tsp salt
Water to make dough ghee or refined oil for deep-frying
Directions
Rub the desi ghee into the refined flour.
Add salt.
Knead with water into medium soft pliable dough.
Make small sized balls, cover with a damp cloth and rest it for 20 minutes.
Roll into thin puris.
Prick all over with a fork or knife and deep fry in medium hot ghee or oil till light brown and crisp.
Drain on absorbent kitchen paper and serve
