Oysters A La Queen Recipe
Ingredients
| Oyster | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Mushrooms | 1 Can (10oz), sliced | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pimiento | 2 Tablespoon, diced | |
| slice | 4 |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Set the soup can out to thaw by placing the whole can in hot water for 30 minutes before the cooking process
MAKING
2. In a large saucepan, add the butter and heat on gentle heat. Add the mushrooms and the onions to the pan to brown lightly
3. Add the flour and stir well to brown gently
4. Blend in the oyster stew, milk and the pimiento to the pan and blend well
5. Heat the mixture till it is smooth and thick
SERVING
6. Serve hot over toast
