Directions
Melt 4 tablespoons butter in heavy saucepan; add salt, pepper, and Tabasco.
Add reserved liquor to pot; stir to blend well.
Add oysters; cook only until edges begin to curl, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Stir in milk and cream; bring to boil, but do not boil.
Spoon soup into hot bowls; dot each bowl with butter and healthy dash of paprika.
