Oyster & Nut Fritters Recipe

Ingredients

 
4 eggs, beaten until frothy
 
1/4 tsp. pepper
 
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
 
1/4, tsp. Monosodium glutamate
 
1 green onion, chopped fine
 
1/4 cup flour
 
1/4 cup ground Hawaiian macadamia nuts (almonds or peanuts)
 
1/2 cups oysters, cut in small pieces
 
Peanut oil (or salad oil) for frying

Directions

Mix all ingredients together, except oil, and blend well.
Heat oil in skillet for deep frying, about 370°F.
Drop oyster mixture in by tablespoonful, carefully so as not to splatter.
Fry until golden brown on all sides.
Drain on absorbent paper and serve immediately with bowl of Chinese Mustard, Hot Shoyu Sauce or chili sauce.
Garnish with lemon or lime wedges.
