Water-1 cup
 
Sugar-2 cups
 
Cranberries-1 quart
 
Marshmallows-2 cups, diced
 
Apples-2, diced
 
Bananas-3, sliced
 
Orange sections-3 cups
 
Pecans-1/2 cup, chopped

Directions

MAKING
1)In a saucepan, add water and sugar. Bring to a boil.
2)Cook until syrupy. Then, add cranberries and cook until cranberry skins pop.
3)Remove from heat and cover. Let stand for 10 minutes.
4)Remove cover and cook for 5 minutes.
5)Let the cranberry mixture cool and add marshmallows, fruits and pecans.
6)Take a salad bowl, and pour the mixture into it.
7)Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.

SERVING
8)Serve the overnight cranberry salad chilled.
