Overnight Green Vegetable Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Iceberg lettuce | 9 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 9 hard-cooked eggs, sliced | ||
| Frozen peas package | 1 1/2 , thawed | |
| 1 1/2 pounds bacon, cooked and crumbled | ||
| Shredded Swiss cheese | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise or salad dressing | ||
| 1/2 cup sliced green onions with tops | ||
| Paprika | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Arrange lettuce in a bowl and sprinkle salt, pepper, and sugar.
2) Place the eggs over the lettuce and season.
3) Arrange layers of peas, lettuce, bacon, and cheese.
4) Spread mayonnaise on top.
5) Chill.
SERVING
6) Garnish with paprika and green onion and serve chilled.
