Oven Round Steak Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds round steak, 1 inch thick, cut into serving pieces | ||
| Onions | 6 Medium, sliced | |
| Fat | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Potatoes | 3 Large, halved | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Tomato soup | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Green beans | 1 1 pound, drained | |
Directions
Season meat with 2 teaspoons salt and dash pepper.
Roll in flour.
Cook onions in hot fat till tender but not brown; remove onions and brown meat slowly on both sides.
Place meat in 3-quart casserole; add onions, potatoes, and bay leaf; pour soup over.
Cover; bake at 350° 1 hour and 45 minutes or till meat is tender.
Add beans; cook 10 to 15 minutes more.
