Oven Omelette With Ham And Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup ham in bite-size pieces | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Eggs | 4 Large | |
| Whipping cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Spray 10-inch non-stick skillet with pan release wrap skillet handle with foil to ovenproof it.
(If cheese is in a chunk, grate and set aside to soften.) Heat butter in skillet until bubbly.
Add ham; saute on medium-low heat until beginning to brown.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk eggs to blend well.
Whisk in cream, flour, salt and pepper.
If you have fresh chives, snip some into the egg mixture.
Pour over ham.
Bake until puffy and golden, about 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Slip out of skillet onto serving plate.
