Ingredients
1 Dozen Oysters
1 Cup Flour
1/4 Tsp. Pepper
1 or 2 Eggs
Bread Crumbs Salad Oil
Tartar Sauce:
1 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Tsp. Scraped Onion
1 Tsp. Minced Parsley
1 Tbs. Minced Dill Pickle
1 Tsp. Chopped Pimiento
Directions
Blend the flour, salt and pepper together.
Roll the oysters in the flour mixture then dip them in the slightly-beaten egg.
Roll the oysters in bread crumbs.
Place in a shallow pan, having sprinkled both sides of oysters with salad oil.
Bake in 400 degree oven until browned, about 15 min.
Tartar Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, scraped onion (or green onions or chives), minced parsley, minced dill pickle and chopped pimiento.
Can delete parsley and pimiento when not available.
