Oven Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
2 (2 1/2-pound) broiler-fryer chickens, cut up
2 cups seasoned bread crumbs, cornflake crumbs, cracker crumbs or packaged coating mix
2 teaspoons paprika
2/3 cup milk
Directions
1. Wash chickens and pat dry.
2. Combine desired crumb coating with paprika.
3. Coat each piece of chicken with milk, then crumb mixture.
4. Place coated chicken pieces in a shallow non-metallic baking dish with the larger pieces along the outside edges of the pan and the smaller pieces in the center.
5. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven for 20 (25) minutes.
6. Turn and heat, uncovered, an additional 10 (13) minutes or until chicken is fork-tender.
7. Let chicken stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
