Lemon-Pepper Oven Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup all purpose flour OR biscuit mix | ||
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cut up frying chicken | ||
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Whole cloves | ||
| Peach | 28 Ounce, drained | |
Directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Melt butter in shallow baking dish (13 x 9 1/2 x 2 inches).
Mix flour or biscuit mix, salt, pepper and paprika in paper bag.
Shake chicken pieces (1 or 2 at a time) in bag with flour mixture, then dip in milk.
Drop back in flour mixture and shake again.
Place, skin side down, in melted butter in baking dish.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Bake 1/2 hour.
Turn chicken.
Bake 15 minutes.
Stick a whole clove in each peach half and lay on top of chicken.
Return to oven and bake 15 minutes.
