Oven Baked Tortilla Chips With Homemade Salsa And Guacamole Recipe
Ingredients
| Homemade salsa | ||
| 6 Roma (Italian plum) tomatoe, diced | ||
| Yellow onion | 1/2 Medium, diced | |
| 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and minced | ||
| Cilantro | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Lime juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Homemade guacamole | ||
| Ripe avocados | 2 | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Tabasco sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Juice of 2 limes | ||
| 1/2 cup homemade salsa | ||
| Two 9-ounce bags tortilla chips | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Preheat the oven to 275°F.
Mix all the salsa ingredients together and set salsa aside.
Mash the avocados with a fork, then add the remaining guacamole ingredients.
You can also puree all the ingredients in a food processor if you prefer.
Place the tortilla chips on an ungreased baking sheet and heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
They will come out hot and crispy.
Place the salsa and guacamole in separate bowls.
