Ingredients

 4 potatoes (about 2 lb / 1 kg)
 Vegetable oil2 Tablespoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 1/4 tsp each pepper, dried thyme and rosemary
 OVEN-BAKED FISH
 Fish fillets package1 , frozen
 All purpose flour1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Egg1
 Dry bread crumbs1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 cup cornflake crumbs
 1/4 tsp each dried thyme and pepper
 Vegetable oil1 Tablespoon

Directions

Scrub or peel potatoes; cut into thick french fries and pat dry.
Toss with oil, salt, pepper, thyme and rosemary.
Arrange in single layer on nonstick baking sheet or foil-lined pan; bake in 425°F (220°C) oven for 40 minutes.
OVEN-BAKED FISH: Meanwhile, cut fish into serving-size pieces; pat dry.
Place flour in shallow dish.
In another shallow dish, beat egg.
In third shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, cornflake crumbs, salt, thyme and pepper.
Dip fish into flour to coat.
Dip into egg, letting excess drip off.
Dip into crumb mixture, patting firmly onto fish.
Brush separate baking sheet with oil and arrange fish on sheet; bake, turning once, for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with fork and potatoes are tender and golden.
