Outdoor Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| 2 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| 2 Tbsp. finely chopped green sweet pepper (optional) | ||
| Catsup | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Prepared horseradish | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Lean ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| 4 whole wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted | ||
Directions
1. In a medium mixing bowl combine onion, bread crumbs, and, if desired, green pepper. Add catsup, horseradish, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Add ground beef; mix well. Shape the meat mixture into four 3/4-inch-thick patties.
2. Grill patties on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 14 to 18 minutes or till no pink remains, turning once halfway through grilling.
3. Serve burgers on toasted whole wheat buns. If desired, top with shredded radicchio, fresh dillweed, and cherry tomato halves.
