Orzo With Parsley And Lemon Zest Recipe
Ingredients
| Orzo pasta | 1/2 pound | |
| Coarse salt | 1 To taste | |
| Extra-virgin olive oil - 1 tablespoon (eyeball it) | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Zest of large lemons - 2 | ||
| Fresh flat-leaf parsley - 1/4 cup, finely chopped (a couple handfuls) | ||
Directions
MAKING
1 In a pan, add orzo and cook in salted water,for 7 to 8 minutes, till tender-crisp.
2 Throughly drain the orzo and and transfer to a warm serving bowl.
3 Sprinkle with a tablespoon of olive oil.
4 Add salt and pepper for seasoning.
5 Add lemon zest and parsley.
6 Toss well to blend the flavors with the orzo.
SERVING
7 Serve immediately.
