Ingredients

 Cornstarch2 Tablespoon (Cornflour)
 Dark soy sauce3 Tablespoon
 Sugar2 Tablespoon
 Vinegar2 Tablespoon
 Dry sherry3 Tablespoon
 Five spice powder1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Pepper To Taste
 Turkey scaloppine1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into very thin strips (Escalopes)
 Oil3 Tablespoon
 Celery sticks2 , washed and cut into very thin strips
 Chestnuts in brine1 Can (10 oz)
 Scallions2 , finely chopped (Spring Onions)

Directions

Heat a browning dish in the microwave oven for 6-8 minutes, following the manufacturer's instructions.
Mix the cornstarch (cornflour) with the soy sauce in a small bowl.
Add the sugar, vinegar, sherry, five spice powder and pepper.
Mix well.
Add the turkey strips, stirring carefully to make sure they are well coated.
Pour the oil into the hot browning dish, add the celery strips and then the turkey mixture, taking care to avoid splashing.
Stir with a wooden fork until the mixture stops sizzling.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.
Drain and rinse the chestnuts and add to the browning dish.
Mix well.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
