Oriental Shrimp Recipe
Oriental Shrimp is a delicious seafood dish with a signature Chinese taste to it. The well flavored shrimp pieces accentuate the wholesome taste of this dish. Try this Oriental Shrimp recipe!
Ingredients
1 teaspoon curry and, perhaps, some paprika powder
4 tablespoons margarine or butter
2 red and 2 green paprikas
2 yellow onions or 2 pieces of leek
2 clove garlics or garlic powder
2 pounds shelled and deveined shrimp
6 tablespoons tomato puree
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt
2 cups fresh mushrooms
Directions
In a wok fry the curry and paprika powder in the margarine or butter, add paprika strips, onions, garlic, and shrimp to soften.
Add the tomato puree, water, wine, and cream and let simmer for a few minutes.
Heat the shrimp in the mixture, taste, and correct seasoning.
Stir in the mushrooms and finish cooking.
This mixture can be served hot in shells or eaten with white bread or rice.
The mixture can also be used as a filling in crepes.
